Mind Maps – a visual form of sharing knowledge. It is easy to grasp. It is perfect for remember & reproduce, so I use Mind Maps extensively in my articles & posts. Project Management is a vast knowledge area where every process has a lot of things involved & interacted in a complex way. The complexity involved in Project Management & simplicity of representation in Mind Maps makes an unbreakable combination.
I created two child pages – one containing Mind Map representation of Project Management Knowledge Areas aligned with PMBOK 5th Edition (Direct Link)
& another page containing Mind Maps based on PMBOK 6th Edition (Direct Link)
I will be adding more content to this page in next few months, so bookmark this page & visit often to view latest information.
Very useful
Thanks for your efforts
Dear Babou, I want to print but difficult to read, how do I get soft copy from you, sadiagol15@gmail.com Sadia Gol

babou
Can we have CONCEPT MAP for the whole Risk Management TOPIC
Hi Surendra, Thanks for comment. I not that familiar with Concept Map. I will review and see how different it is from Mind Maps.
Babou
Are there any linkages in the identify risks , qualitative , quantitative And plan risk response processes?
I think from what I have read about concept maps we can create cross links in mind maps depicting the above processes linkages
I think this will help in correctly answering pmp exam questions!!!!!
Excellent Work.. I am preparing for PMP and this will surely help…Work is true Inspirational
Thanks a lot Mr. Babou
, very helpful 🙂
Very nicely done mind maps. Is this done in MS Visio or ?
This is done in iMindMap
Thanks a lot for the mindmaps. If you could kindly make font color in bracket little dark then it would be a lot easier to read the description. I tried printing on different printers but description is little light. Thanks again.
thank you too much
Thank you Sir!!!
hello Sir, could you also post mindmap format please?
Thank you very much for sharing. The maps are beautiful as well as useful. I, too, am preparing for CAPM exam and wanted to create mind maps, but you have already done it.
Thank you Mr Srinivasan Babou for all the hard work and time you have put in creating the above mind maps.
Great mind map.It will help in exams.
Great Work. !! Really helpful
Thank you very much ! it is really helpful
Amazing and really useful work!!!
Fantastic work.. thanks a lot..
Great work Babou. I’m an IT Professor and always looking for simple ways to walk students through the 47 processes of PMBOK. Looks like you hit on a winning formula. Mind mapping is the proverbial starting point in developing a strategic mindset and getting everyone involved in the process. I’ve used it often in class, but not in breaking down the elements of PM as you have.
Hi Babou, I like your work a lot. Is it possible to get an imx copy of the project management maps? Please advise.
Amazing work ! what is the software used to prepare these maps?
I used iMindMap
Is marvelous. I am p[laning to for PMP exam and I think this will help alot. Thank you
very good thanks
Babou, Thank you for your good work.
Thanx
Sir, I really need to pass this exam. I bought the book and I am reading it, but I have no clear plan that will make me succeed at the first attempt. I know it is not going to be easy, and it is not impossible in the same time. The mind mapping is a great tool and I would appreciate it if you could advise me about other ways to go through all of these information.
Thanks.
Following are my advise. First and foremost is – don’t get scared of exam! It is just another exam like your school or college & there is nothing special about it. It takes the same plan, effort and concentration as any other exam. I encourage you to make study plans & don’t just read books from cover to cover. Initial days of plan may look bit hard, but once you find the pattern (i.e. your study pattern as well as how the chapters are structured) you will start getting idea on how to proceed next. Attempt sample exams & review the chapters of low score. Until you get confident on your scoring don’t go to exam center because you may get the same result there also.
Do I have to memorize these for the CAPM exam?
Generally you need to know all of them but memorization is bit difficult if you go by the book order. Go in logical order & group them in the way you can remember.
Very true
